Ariel Avner
Ariel Avner is the founder and CEO of Azoogi LED Lighting and is our in-house visionary.
Ariel started the business in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Business from UTS.
In 2019, Lighting Council Australia presented Ariel with the Young Achievement Award.
In 2021, Ariel joined the board of Lighting Council Australia.
Naomi Hamilton-Hakim
Naomi joined the Azoogi team in 2021 and oversees all business operations. She has worked in marketing and management roles for international media, technology and not for profit brands including Cisco, Blackbaud and IDG and is a Director of Double H Marketing.
Naomi holds a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts (Writing) and an Executive MBA with the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). She is also a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).
Bibek Joshi
Bibek holds a Bachelor of Electronics & Communications Engineering and a Masters in Photovoltaics & Solar Energy Engineering.
Bibek joined the Azoogi team in 2020 and manages the engineering team including the warehouse assembly line.
Venkat Ramasubramanian
Venkat recently graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from UNSW.
He has recently joined the team to assist with product engineering and development.
Romulo Flores-Centurion
Romulo joined the team in 2020 as our expert in-house solderer.
Romulo has over 20 years experience in electronics across brands including Acer and Fuji Xerox.
Mervin Aaron Paul
Mervin manages the Azoogi warehouse and is a key member of our Engineering team. Prior to joining the Azoogi, he was a graduate research assistant and energy consultant. He also completed an internship with Legrand.
Mervin holds a dual Masters degree in Electronic, Computer & Energy Engineering.
